Floyd County Museum - Floydada, Texas
Overview
Our museum houses exhibits and genealogical records for Floyd County, Texas.
Included in our collection are artifacts from the 1540 Coronado Expedition, which
were discovered at the Jimmy Owens Site in Blanco Canyon. We have an
extensive genealogy library for Floyd county and the nation. Our photographic
collection (over 3,800 photos) have been scanned into a computer allowing visitors
to search and print photos which are of interest.
What We Do
Our staff is available daily to assist visitors in learning about the history of Floyd
County and it's people. We are located at 105 East Missouri Street in Floydada,
Texas.
